FinTech Experimental Lab
The FinTech Experimental Lab runs incentivized economics experiments on how financial technology shapes investor behavior and market structure.
Participants are paid for their time, and most sessions also offer a performance-based bonus. No prior finance knowledge is required. Sessions run on the University of Calgary campus (Mathison or Scurfield Hall).

How it works
- Pick a session from the table above and follow the sign-up link to register your name, email, and student ID.
- Show up and participate! You will be paid your show-up fee in full, plus any bonus you earn during the experiment.
Eligibility & contact
Sessions are open to University of Calgary students aged 18 and over. All studies are voluntary, your responses are kept confidential, and you may withdraw at any time. Studies are conducted under the relevant research-ethics approvals.
